Compensation Plan
The majority of MLM companies have so overly complicated compensation plans that it feels like you need to have a rocket scientist doctorate to understand just their first paragraph.
Acti-Labs’s compensation plan might not be as complicated as those of other MLM companies but it’s still no piece of cake to really grasp.
Nonetheless, I’ll try my best to get you up to speed.
Acti-Labs compensates its Ambassadors in 8 different ways.
- Base Commission
- Additional Personal Sales Bonus
- Fast-Start Acti-Cash
- Customer Loyalty Club Bonus
- Team Sales Commissions
- Cheque Match Bonus
- Annual Rank Bonus
- Car Allowance
1 • Base Commission
You earn 20% commission on every retail sale you make, from the moment you sign up.
2 • Additional Personal Sales Bonus
If you sell $500+ worth of Acti-Labs products in any calendar month, your base commissions bump up from 20% to 25%.
Sell $1000+ worth of Acti-Labs products in any calendar month, and your base commissions rise from 25% to 30%.
3 • Fast-Start Acti-Cash
Sell $200+ worth of Acti-Labs products between the 1st and the 14th of any given month and you will receive a $20 bonus!
This bonus is credited to your Ambassador account on the 15th of the month and must be used before the 7th of the following month.
4 • Customer Loyalty Club Bonus
Earn $1.50 for every customer who signs up to Acti-Loyalty Club through you for each and every month that they remain subscribed.
Acti-Loyalty Club costs just $7.50 per month and customers that subscribe to it get $15 in credit every month which they can spend on any product of Acti-Labs.
5 • Team Sales Commissions
Earn up to 10% of the wholesale sales of Acti-Labs Ambassadors up to 6 Generations deep through a uni-level structure.
- 1st Generation = the Ambassadors you have personally recruited
- 2nd Generation = the Ambassadors that your personally recruited Ambassadors have recruited
- 3rd Generation = the Ambassadors your 2nd Generation Ambassadors have recruited
- and so on
The higher your rank, the more Generations you earn commissions through.
For instance, a Level 2 Executive Ambassador earns 7% of the sales of their 1st Generation but a Level 7 Diamond Leader earns 10% on their 1st Generation, and 4% on their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Generations.
The table below displays all the payout percentages and Generation depth per each rank.
Team Commissions are paid based on your team’s wholesale sales value.
The wholesale value of a product is calculated at 80% of its retail value.
As a Level 1 Ambassador, your Team Commissions payments are made to your Acti-Cash account balance and must be used before the 7th of the following month.
Payments for Level 2 Ambassadors and higher are paid directly into your bank account by direct deposit.
6 • Cheque Match Bonus
Help two or more Ambassadors on your 1st Generation to become Level 2 Ambassadors within their first 6 months and you’ll receive a 100% Cheque Match Bonus on their monthly team commissions.
You will continue to receive this Cheque Match Bonus for each Ambassador on your 1st Generation that becomes a Level 2 Ambassador within their first 6 months.
There is no cap on how many Cheque Match Bonuses you can earn.
When a 1st Generation Ambassador reaches a rank higher than Level 2 within their first 6 months, you will still receive a 100% Cheque Match Bonus on their team commissions.
7 • Annual Rank Bonus
When you reach the rank of Elite Leader Level 5 (Gold Leader) or higher, you qualify for this Annual Rank Bonus.
Maintain your rank for an average of 12 months and you will receive an annual bonus at the end of the 12 month period in addition to everything else that you have earned!
The bonus ranges from $625 to $10.000.
The higher your rank average during this 12-month qualifying period, the higher the bonus you earn.
- Level 5 (Gold Leader) – $625
- Level 6 (Platinum Leader) – $1250
- Level 7 (Diamond Leader) – $2500
- Level 8 (Executive Leader) – $5000
- Level 9 (Black Diamond Executive LEader) – $10.000
8 • Car Allowance
Achieve the rank of Executive Leader or higher and maintain it for 3 straight months and you will become a member of the Acti-Car Club with a Mercedes GLA or equivalent.
You can study Acti-Labs’s full compensation plan right here.
The video below also sums up the compensation plan pretty neatly so you might want to watch it before moving any further.
Please note that Acti-Labs’s compensation plan might undergo changes from time to time so by the time you read this review, some of the info, the commission rates, the rank qualifications, etc that are displayed in the video and PDF file I shared with you right above might not be that accurate.
If you still have questions about Acti-Labs’s compensation plan, you can contact their support team through email at admin@acti-labs.com or call them at the telephone number +44 (0)1264 339 999.

Is Acti-Labs a Pyramid Scheme?
Most of the time it’s very hard to distinguish between a legit MLM company and a pyramid scheme.
The video below will help you understand how to spot and avoid pyramid schemes in general.
The main difference between an MLM and a pyramid scheme is that MLMs give you the opportunity to earn commissions by selling actual products or services to other people in retail without having to recruit them while with a pyramid scheme the only way to earn money is by recruiting other people into the scheme.
Not all MLMs are legitimate. If the money you make through an MLM is based on your sales to the public, it may be a legitimate one. If the money you make is based on the number of people you recruit and your sales to them, it’s not legit. It’s a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal, and the vast majority of their participants lose money. – Federal Trade Commission
Since Acti-Labs offers you the option to earn commissions by selling its products in retail, the company cannot be considered a pyramid scheme.
Acti-Labs Pros
- Free Replicated Website
- Affordable to Join
- BBB Accredited, A+ Rating
- No Minimum Quotas
1 • Free Replicated Website
Once you join Acti-Labs as an Ambassador, the company provides you with a free replicated website.
When people purchase Acti-Labs products through your replicated website, up to 30% of what those people pay land right into your pocket.
In addition, if someone signs up as an Acti-Labs Ambassador through your website you automatically become their sponsor, and they become part of your downline.
If marketed the right way, this website could help you maximize your customers and your recruits, and thus your income.
If your business is not on the internet, then your business will be out of business – Bill Gates
2 • Affordable to Join
Joining Acti-Labs as an Ambassador is very affordable compared to the majority of MLM companies.
A one-time fee of just $40 is a very small price to pay for a business opportunity that might as well result in you earning 20 times as much or maybe even more per month.
Just to give you a frame of reference, NewYou (a CBD MLM) requires you to pay at least $70 per month to keep yourself active and qualified for commissions.
In addition, I have come across a lot of MLMs whose enrollment fees rise up to hundreds or in some cases even thousands of dollars.
Acti-Labs is one of the most affordable MLM companies I have reviewed so far…
3 • BBB Accredited, A+ Rating
BBB (Better Business Bureau) is a non-profit organization that ranks and accredits businesses, charities and non-profit organizations based on their legitimacy, the information they gather about the business and complaints received from customers.
Acti-Labs has been accreditied with BBB something that means that BBB has determined that the business complies with the BBB Standards for Trust, eight principles that summarize important elements of creating and maintaining trust in any business.
In addittion, BBB has rated Acti-Labs with an A+ rating which is actually the highest BBB rating.
The higher a company’s rating, the more credible and trustworthy the company is in the eyes of BBB.
4 • No Minimum Quotas
Something that I see for the first time in an MLM company is that once you purchase your $40 enrollment fee, you remain an active and qualified for commissions Acti-Labs Ambassador for life.
- No need to pay additional monthly or yearly fees
- No obligatory auto-ship orders
- No minimul sales quotas
- No meeting any other requirement
Acti-Labs Cons
- MLM Business Model
- Low Income Potential
- A Number of Complaints
- Complicated Compensation Plan
1 • MLM Business Model
As mentioned earlier, I am not fond of the MLM business model in general for many reasons…
First of all, the percentage of MLM participants who actually make a profit is awfully low (74% – 99%)
Secondly, I hate selling…
And thirdly, I’ve heard so many stories of people losing all their friends, family, and money due to the pushy and sleazy practices they were being taught by their “mentors” that I have become repulsed by the MLM business model in general.
Being involved in an MLM is just not worth the trouble in my mind.
Especially when there exist other much more legit ways of earning a lot more money without having to go through all that struggle of becoming a sleazy salesperson and jeopardizing your relationships with those around you because you are perceiving them as walking bags of cash.
2 • Low Income Potential
MLM companies, in general, have very low income potential.
An average MLM rep earns no more than $5000 per year.
While Acti-Labs hasn’t published an income disclosure statement there’s no indication whatsoever that the company’s compensation plan offers higher income potential or higher chances of profiting to its Ambassadors than an average MLM.
3 • A Number of Complaints
While I was doing my research about Acti-Labs, I came across a number of complaints about the company on BBB and Trustpilot.
Some of those complaints are about issues with billing and returns but 99% of them claim that the company’s customer service is awful and rude towards both Ambassadors and regular customers (see images below).
The good news is that almost none of those complaints mention that the company’s products are low-quality.
And to be fair, among all those negative complaints there seem to be a number of positive reviews about the company as well.
4 • Complicated Compensation Plan
FastStart Bonuses, Match Cheque Bonuses, generations and levels, various percentages, dozens of different ranks and qualification, blah blah blah…
A person who is relatively new to MLMs will probably have trouble understanding how Acti-Labs’s compensation plan really works.
But did you know that most MLMs make their compensation plans so complicated on purpose?
It’s called “Complexity Bias” and it’s the tendency of people to trust complex concepts more than simple ones.
Marketers use complexity bias all the time to boost the sales of a product/service by incorporating confusing language or insignificant details into its packaging or sales copy.
MLM companies do the exact same thing with their compensation plans to get more people to join them.
You can read more about complexity bias right here.

Overall Rating
Is Acti-Labs Suggested?
So and so…
Acti-Labs seems like a legit MLM company but there’s no indication that it is different from your average MLM in any way.
The company’s compensation plan might be simple but the income potential it offers to its Ambassadors is definitely not high.
Now, if you are already using Acti-Labs products and you are really satisfied with them, joining Acti-Labs as an ambassador might be a good opportunity for you to get some good discounts on the products you would purchase anyway as well as maybe make some extra money by selling some of those products to your friends.
However, if you are interested in earning money by selling beauty and skincare products as an MLM rep, I’d suggest that you check out another MLM company called Farmasi.
On the other hand, to tell you the truth, I am not at all fond of the MLM business model in general…
- The success rate and profitability of MLM reps are awfully low
- MLM companies are extremely volatile and unstable
- You need to invest a ton of money, time, and energy until you manage to make a profit (if you ever actually make a profit)
- Most MLM companies focus on recruiting people instead of selling valuable and beneficial products or services
Plus, in order to make money with the MLM business model, you’ll probably have to turn into a sleazy salesperson and I really hate selling as much as I hate being sold to.

Thank you for this review. I will share this with my friend Barbara who is into anti-aging formulations and looking for business opportunities that revolve around these kinds of products. She had asked me about Acti-Labs and wanted to know if she should invest in them.
Because of past unpleasant experiences with MLMs and investigating others that have turned out to be scams, I am a bit suspicious of all MLMs.
After reading this review I have mixed feelings. It is a relief to see that Acti-Labs is a legit MLM and not a scam.
However, when any kind of money-making opportunity does not provide an Income Disclosure, this is a problem for me.
Why are they not being transparent? What are they hiding? I will let my friend decide.
I am always suspicious of MLM companies that haven’t published their income disclosure statements as well.
Normally, every single MLM company should publish an income disclosure statement at the end of each year.
Since your friend is interested in anti-aging, tell her to also check out Farmasi.
She might like it better.

Hi there,
Great Acti-Labs MLM review, I really enjoyed the reading!
I heard about this company a week ago for the first time, and just by reading the comments below, I understand that this company is not worth it.
Some of my friends work in an MLM company for children’s health, and they make plenty of money with it. I think it depends on how good we are in selling.
What if I subscribe and want a refund, would they give my money back $40?
Thank you for this great article!
To answer your question quoting Acti-Labs:
“By completing your registration as an Ambassador you are waiving your rights to a statutory refund if you change your mind, however, as a gesture of our good faith, we will offer 50% refunds of your registration fee if they are requested before your sample kit is processed and sent. Your request should be sent via email to admin@acti-labs.com“
I hope this helps…
Harry
Hello Harry.
Thanks for letting me know about the Acti-Labs MLM business opportunity.
I have seen so many money-making opportunities that are scams that I don’t trust them anymore.
Acti-Labs is in an industry I am interested and it’s also very affordable.
The complaints that you mentioned are not that encouraging though…
I’ll think about it.
You’re welcome, Bella!
It’s true that only a small fraction of the available money-making opportunities that exist are really legit so you have to keep your eyes open at all times… One wrong move and you got scammed!
It’s your call 🙂
Harry
Great review.
The information you provided will be very useful for a lot of people to decide if they should join Acti-Labs or not.
Honestly, it is difficult, almost impossible to make a profit with the MLM business model.
You find yourself with a high stock of products that are not easy to sell. Most people do not have disposable income to spend on new, untested products.
I couldn’t agree more.
Thanks for sharing!
Harry
I like the honesty in this review on Acti-Labs.
First, I must commend the legit nature of this business.
Also, the pricing is very low for anyone to afford.
This industry is a good one as weight loss is something people are looking for so the products will probably sell fast.
It’s saddening to see that the income of such a nice business is low as the main aim of everyone who goes into this business is to make money.
Unfortunately, the income potential of all MLM companies is very low.
Usually, the ones that make the most money with an MLM are those who join it when it’s first launched because they get to advance towards the highest ranks pretty fast.
However, the fact that someone else didn’t make good money with an MLM company doesn’t mean that you will not be able to reach your financial goals either.
You seem pretty excited with the company and I don’t want you to pass on a business opportunity that you would enjoy.
Your excitement alone could help you a great deal in making more sales and getting more recruits.
Harry
Thanks for this review of the Acti-Labs MLM company. You really took your time with this and pointing out just how seldom people make money with the MLM model is helpful.
It does seem that Acti-Labs has a couple of red flags that would cause me to stay away from it. One is the customer service issue that you point out, and the other is the fact that their compensation plan is so complicated.
I see that you have recommended one MLM business for readers in lieu of Acti-Labs, do you think that this alternative will beat the averages mentioned at the beginning of your review?
The fact that the MLM model just does not work for most people has led me to start considering other options such as creating an online business as you suggested.
I believe that you are talking about Farmasi…
Well, Farmasi has been around for more than 69 years now so the company can really be considered one of the oldest companies in the beauty industry.
Farmasi’s compensation plan is much simpler and is geared towards retail sales and not recruiting.
Also, I have a good hunch about it…
On the other hand, according to its income disclosure, the average annual gross revenue of its reps is projected to be between $500 and $2000 which is still pretty low.
Creating your own online business would be the best way to go in this case.
If you decide to act as I suggested, make sure to check out Wealthy Affiliate and Project 24.
Trust me, you won’t regret it 😉
Harry
Most MLM companies have highly-priced products, and they are usually competitive products, like the ones here in the weight loss industry.
I think in order to be successful within an MLM company is to sell something that is unique and highly sought after.
Everyone is sick of the run of the mill beauty and health products.
People are looking for something unique, otherwise, they can just get it at their local store.
Everything you stated is very true Michel…
All products Acti-Labs sells are very common and equivalents to most of them can indeed be found at local stores for the same or maybe even lower prices…
The competition in the beauty and skincare industries is undeniably enormous especially if you consider that you’ll be going against behemoth MLM companies like Avon, Younique, and Jeunesse.
And if you are not a salesperson, converting people who are already buying from those authoritative brands is going to be freaking hard.
And truth is that there’s nothing really unique about Acti-Labs… They are basically making the exact same claims that every single beauty company makes that their products are environmentally friendly, that they empower women, using natural ingredients, etc, etc…
Nothing new to see here…
Harry
