InfluEarn presents itself as a way to earn a lot of cash fast and without much effort through completing surveys, installing applications, as well as recommending it to your friends and followers.
Upon first sight, InfluEarn is one of those platforms which sounds just too good to be true.
Unfortunately, this is exactly the case.
Truth be told, InfluEarn is part of a huge MMO (Make Money Online) scam network which has been plaguing the internet for many months now. Some of its sister scams which you might have heard about before are
Anyway, in this review, I will go over exactly what InfluEarn really is, how it works (or to be more accurate, doesn’t work), and why it might be of your best interest to steer clear of it… This way, you’ll be able to make an informed decision about whether you should invest your time and energy in this platform or not.
Spoiler alert: You shouldn’t!

What is InfluEarn About?
InfluEarn is supposed to be a platform which will help you make a lot of cash by getting your social media friends and followers to join it by clicking on your unique InfluEarn referral link (see image below).
In addition to that, InfluEarn offers you the opportunity to earn even more money by completing a variety of other tasks which are very simple and easy to complete and require no previous experience.
More specifically, InfluEarn claims that it will pay you
- $25 just for signing up
- $2 for each person who clicks on your InfluEarn referral link
- an additional $10 for each person who signs up to InfluEarn after clicking on your referral link AND completes 2 tasks
- an additional $30 for each person who signs up to InfluEarn after clicking on your referral link AND completes 2 tasks AND is from the USA
- $30 for filling in surveys and entering contests
- $20 for installing applications on your mobile phone
- $50 for creating YouTube videos promoting InfluEarn
- $10 for publishing InfluEarn promotional posts of Instagram/Facebook/Twitter every 48 hours
Okay, everything sounds pretty solid up until this point right?
The only problem is that InfluEarn is actually a big fat scam which will NEVER actually let you get your hands on the money you’ve earned fair and square through it.
This solves the puzzling question “Why the heck would InfluEarn pay me so much money for doing nothing?”
Answer: They really won’t!
Let me explain further…
How Does InfluEarn Work?
First of all, InfluEarn lures you in by offering $25 as a bonus for signing up to it…
Many people join InfluEarn thinking that they can get their hands on that $25 bonus right after creating their account.
This is exactly how I ended up joining Viral Pay, a scam identical to InfluEarn, for the first time a few months ago.
However, in order to qualify to cash out that $25 bonus or any other money you’ve earned through InfluEarn, you need to
- refer at least 5 people to the platform
- complete at least 10 tasks on the $30 TaskWall
- have at least 20 clicks on your unique referral link
- have earned at least $250 through InfluEarn
Some people will quit InfluEarn once they realize that they have to actually work a little bit more to get that $25 signup bonus they were promised. What’s pretty funny is that those are actually the lucky ones.
However, there are others who will say “What the hell, the tasks I have to complete to get paid do not seem so hard. Plus, I can earn even more money by completing them. Let’s give it a try!” … Those are the ones who get scammed.
They start devoting time and energy into referring people to the platform and completing tasks, thinking that the next time they hit that “Request Payment” button, they’ll get hundreds of dollars deposited in their bank account.
However, what they don’t know is that InfluEarn will ban their account the moment they request a payment using as an excuse that they faked their clicks and referrals.
This way, the only winner out of this pathetic charade is InfluEarn.
- First, it lures you in with a $25 signup bonus
- Then it tells you that in order to be able to get your signup bonus you need to meet certain criteria (get 20 clicks on your referral link, 5 referrals, complete 10 tasks, reach the $250 threshold)
- You start trying to meet those criteria in order to qualify for a payment
- In the meantime, InfluEarn credits your account with even more money for every task you fulfill. This motivates you to keep completing more and more tasks
- When you finally meet every single one of those criteria and you request for the money you’ve earned fair and square, they kick you out leaving you high and dry
This way, InfluEarn got you to complete several tasks which bring money to its owners as well as drive more people to the platform which will, in turn, complete even more tasks which will, in turn, bring even more money to InfluEarn’s owners and all that, without having to pay anyone a single dime for their work.
Pretty appalling right?
Well, this is it… This is how InfluEarn actually works or to be more accurate, doesn’t work.
Get this very well in your head, InfluEarn will NEVER pay you a single dime! You can NEVER earn any money with it! The platform is just a huge waste of time and energy.
Who is InfluEarn for?
InfluEarn is for no one… The platform is 100% useless.
The chances of earning money online by sleeping all day long are so much more than the chances of earning money through InfluEarn.
In fact, I am so confident that you won’t be able to earn even a single penny with InfluEarn that if you do, you can contact me with proof and I will deposit $100 more right in your account just for being wrong…
Who is InfluEarn NOT for?
InfluEarn is definitely NOT for people who want to earn money online.
If you
- want to build a full-time income online to quit your job
- are in need of some extra money to provide for your family
- are working a part-time job and need a supplementary income to cover your expenses
- want to gain the freedom to work whenever you want and from wherever you want in order to be able to travel around the world
- have tried other MMO and GPT platforms and systems but failed to meet your financial goals and you are still looking for the real deal
then ditching this InfluEarn review and instead, checking out Wealthy Affiliate or Project 24 would be a good choice because InfluEarn is never going to help you fulfill your financial goals.

FAQ
This section contains answers to some frequently asked questions people have about InfluEarn.
Payment Proof
A few screenshots of payments made to InfluEarn members are displayed here.
Just a heads up, every single one of them is fake…
Let me explain.
First of all, as you can see in the images below, the exact payment screenshots that have been used for InfluEarn have also been used as payment proofs for other similar scammy platforms such as SwagPay, ReferralPay, and Viral Points.
In addition to that, as you can see in the image below, the domain name influearn.com was registered on the 6th of May 2019.
This means that the platform didn’t even exist before 06/05/2019 and yet if you take a closer look, somehow all of the payment proofs above seem to have taken place before that date.
This could mean two things…
Either InfluEarn was paying people before it even existed or all its payment proofs are fake.
I’d go for the latter…
Besides those fake payment proofs, InfluEarn has also published a few fake positive testimonials about it on its home page (see image below).
Those testimonials have “fake” written all over them…
They are all very generic and overly positive… The names of the reviewers are very generic as well. Also, 99% of fake reviews don’t include pictures of the reviewer (probably because the reviewer doesn’t exist). Lastly, all authentic reviews include a link to some kind of profile, website, or social media account through which you can reach the reviewer; those are not!
The one behind those testimonials is obviously InfluEarn.
It really doesn’t take more than 3 minutes to create a fake testimonial… Hell, I’ll create one right below right now.
InfluEarn is the worst scam on the face of the Earth. They will promise great riches fast but they will really ban your account when you request a cashout. Stay away!
Harry N.
How Much Does InfluEarn Cost?
InfluEarn is free to join.
However, it’s not really free to use in its entirety.
You see, in order to be able to access some of those tasks that you’ll need to complete in order to qualify for a cashout, you might be asked to submit your mobile phone number.
If you do submit it, you’ll start receiving dozens of promotional text messages per month by various services at your own cost. And those text messages aren’t cheap at all. Just one text message could cost up to $5 and sometimes even more.
Furthermore, other tasks might ask you to fill in additional personal information such as full name, address, email, and even credit card number.
If I were you, I would never trust scammy platforms such as InfluEarn with any of my personal information because you can never know how they are going to use them… They might sell them to other companies for profit, they might use them to figure out your social media or e-banking passwords, etc, etc.
Plus, if you think about it since InfluEarn will ban your account the moment you request a cashout, there’s really no point whatsoever in trying to complete those tasks in the first place.
InfluEarn Pros
- Free to join
1 • Free to Join
The only InfluEarn pro is that you don’t have to spend any money to join it.
This way, if you decide to see for yourself if the platform sucks as much as I keep claiming, you’ll just waste some of your time and energy and not any of your money.
Be careful though not to submit your phone number or credit card info anywhere within InfluEarn or you’ll probably end up losing a lot of your money as well after all.
More InfluEarn Cons
- Has just one pro
- Unrealistic claims
- Additional charges to complete tasks
- Fake contact information
- Fake payment proofs and testimonials
- Too much inconsistency
- Unable to cashout
- Potential hacking danger
1 • Has Just One Pro
The fact that I have been trying to come up with a second InfluEarn pro for the last hour without any luck just bums me out.
2 • Unrealistic Claims
Truth is that compared to most of its sister scams (Referral Pay, Kash Tree, Rain Money), InfluEarn has somewhat toned down the unrealistic claims!
Some of the first unrealistic claims InfluEarn’s makes is that it has
- 372K members
- paid $102 million to its members
- been around for more than 2 years
All those claims are 100% fake. They are just there in order to increase InfluEarn’s credibility and trustworthiness thus convincing more people to join the platform.
First of all, InfluEarn has no followers as they haven’t created profiles with any social media. No Facebook, no Instagram, no Twitter, and no YouTube channel.
Secondly, as we saw earlier, InfluEarn was created in May 2019. At the time I am writing this review, it’s September 2019 and yet InfluEarn claims that it has been around for more than 2 years which is clearly a lie.
Lastly, it’s very unlikely that InfluEarn has paid $102 million in just for months… That’s $850K a day!
Plus, if you do the math, $102 million paid to 372K members equals to $275 a member which is not that big a deal after all.
3 • Additional Charges
As I’ve mentioned earlier, in order to qualify for a cashout of your InfluEarn earnings you need to complete at least 10 tasks on its $30 TaskWall.
In order to complete some of those tasks, you’ll be required to submit your phone number and agree to subscribe to paid text-message services which could cost you up to $50 dollars per month and maybe even more.
Other tasks might ask you to fill in your credit card info and then start charging you for random products and digital services.
So, not only InfluEarn will never let you get your hands on your earnings, but you could also end up losing a lot of money while attempting to complete tasks in order to qualify for your first cashout.
Stay away, people!
4 • Fake Contact Information
The only way to contact InfluEarn’s support team is through the email address support@influearn.com
After using an email checker to find out if this email address is valid, as it turns out it’s not (see image below).
On its home page, InfluEarn also provides a physical address, 176 Westmore Mondaile Street Victorian 887 NYC, so you could drop by their premises to say hello to their happy team and brighten their day with some donuts and stuff.
Too bad that this address doesn’t exist either though…
So, as it seems, there’s no one to contact if you have any questions or require support regarding InfluEarn.
Once you join InfluEarn, you are all alone…
5 • Fake Payment Proofs
I really hate it when crappy platforms such as InfluEarn try to trick people into joining and using them by employing fake success stories, fake testimonials, and fake payment screenshots.
First of all, the fake payment screenshots InfluEarn uses, prove that it indeed doesn’t pay its members… If it did, they wouldn’t publish fake payment proofs and risk their credibility and trustworthiness. They would just publish some real ones!
Secondly, those fake payment proofs could entice tons of people to invest their time and energy in InfluEarn only to get scammed who otherwise wouldn’t if those payment proofs didn’t exist.
According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), using fake positive testimonials/success stories is considered a violation as it encourages customers to invest in a product or service they otherwise wouldn’t, thereby defrauding the customer, which is actually illegal and subject to huge penalties.
6 • Too Much Inconsistency
There’s so much inconsistent information throughout InfluEarn’s website that I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out that a 5-year-old has put it together.
First of all, as we saw earlier, InfluEarn claims that they have been in business for 2+ years on its home page. However, on another page of the website, they claim that they have been running for 13 years.
In addition, apparently, the amount of money you earn by referring people to InfluEarn changes throughout the website. On its home page, it says that you earn $20 per referral… Scrolling down a little bit it says $15 per referral. And inside the main member’s dashboard, it says $10 per referral.
Furthermore, below the dashboard menu where you can open a support ticket, it says “SwagPay Support”. SwagPay is actually one of InfluEarn’s sister scams.
And lastly, within the Cashout section, there is a mention of Viral Dollars which is yet another, older sister scam of InfluEarn.
Now that I think about it, a 5-year-old would have done a hell of a lot better job keeping the information within InfluEarn consistent…
7 • Unable to Cashout
The biggest con of InfluEarn is that it will never let you get your hands on the money you’ve earned by referring people to it or completing its other tasks.
Even if it didn’t have any other cons and like a thousand more pros, this con alone beats the whole purpose of investing any time and energy in the platform in the first place.
Trying to make money with InfluEarn would be like trying to hammer a nail in the wall using a sponge – it’s just pointless…
8 • Potential Hacking Danger
So, the other day, I tried to complete one task within the InfluEarn platform which didn’t require me to submit any personal info, mobile phone, or credit card number.
It was actually a survey.
However, before I even got to access it, my antivirus went off giving me the alert below:
Apparently, InfluEarn’s tasks lead to 3rd party websites which contain viruses which could enable hackers to get their hands on personal data and sensitive information of yours such as the login credentials to your social media, email, credit cards, or even your bank accounts.
If you don’t have an internet security or antivirus program installed make sure to stay clear of InfluEarn at all costs…
If you’ve already accessed the platform without having any protection in place, you must immediately purchase an antivirus and scan your entire system in order to ensure that your computer hasn’t caught a virus and that your personal data and sensitive information are safe.
So, What Now?
Okay, so you read this InfluEarn review in its entirety…
Now what?
Well, as I see it, right now you have 4 options…
- You either waste your time and effort trying to make money online with InfluEarn (awful choice)
- You check out my top suggestions Project 24 or Wealthy Affiliate, which are proven to have helped hundreds of people earn their living online (optimal choice)
- You take a look at the dozens of others reviews I’ve put together hoping you’ll find something which suits you better there
- Or you walk out of here completely empty-handed, you never take the first step towards earning your living online and you move on living your current life for the years to come, always wondering what would have happened if you had taken action right this very moment
If I were where you are (which I’ve been), I would join Wealthy Affiliate (which is what I actually did).
Here’s why…
- Wealthy Affiliate is one of the best MMO platforms that currently exist
- I’ve actually been a premium Wealthy Affiliate member for almost 3 years now and I couldn’t be more satisfied with it
- Wealthy Affiliate has the most success stories I’ve ever seen in an MMO course. Dozens more are being published daily within its forum-like community
- It is completely FREE to join (no credit card required and no catches whatsoever)
Make sure to go ahead and find out more about Wealthy Affiliate by taking a look at my Wealthy Affiliate Review.
So, what are you going to do?

Wow, what an incredible review, I am impressed!
My son is a student, and he wanted to try the InfluaEarn, but now that I read your review, I am sure he will avoid this company.
It’s a shame that those companies take advantage of people like this. But luckily, there are websites like yours that write articles about these scams, which really help to inform us.
I’ll check out your suggestions Project 24and Wealthy Affiliate. Which one of them would you suggest for a student who wants to earn money online but has very little money?
Thank you for this excellent post!
Wealthy Affiliate no doubt…
Back when I was looking for a way to make money online I was working a part-time job and I had no money either. Wealthy Affiliate allowed me to get started for free, build my online business for free, and trained me for free as well.
When I was 100% sure that Wealthy Affiliate was legit and that running an online business was something that I would actually enjoy, I went ahead and upgraded my free membership to premium which is not that expensive either.
Project 24 costs a one-time payment of $449 so I guess that it might be a little expensive for your son. The good news is that the creators of Project 24, Income School, also run a YouTube channel which contains a ton of videos with the information that is being taught within Project 24. And those videos are free to watch!
So you might want to tell your son to check that Income School YouTube channel out as well after he has already started his online business with Wealthy Affiliate.
It’s going to help him a ton!
Harry
Thanks for the great analysis and the arguments you give to prove that InfluEarn is part of a scam network.
However, I wouldn’t be interested in it anyway because the filling in surveys is usually poorly paid.
I have patience to build an online business and eventually earn real money online and that’s why I am going to give Wealthy Affiliate a try!
Thanks a lot!
That’s a solid choice Carmen!
Here is my Wealthy Affiliate profile if you want to follow me and interact inside the platform –> my.wealthyaffiliate.com/xaric

Scam is everywhere but online, it is uncountable.
This is the second article I’m reading on InfluEarn in just a week, I knew it from the very first glance that it can’t be a legit platform, too many shiny claims, like $25 for sign up and lots more.
This article should go beyond here, let people be sensitized when it comes to online dealings, there are many likes of InfluEarn out there.
I think there should be a kind of agency or test organization that should check online business platforms before being authorized to function, I don’t know if there’s any, do you?
The only thing close to what you mention might be the FTC.
But they definitely not check online business platforms before being authorized to function. Usually, they might take measures against the function of an already up and running online business if they suspect that it employs unfair and deceptive practices in the marketplace.
Unfortunately, I don’t believe that they could help in this case as the scam network InfluEarn belongs to is too enormous and new identical scammy platforms increase so fast that nobody could really do anything.
Harry
Well, to be honest, InfluEarn seems more bad than any sort of good that could come out of it.
The thing I am the most concerned about is getting hacked and losing very vital information and maybe even money to this cheap scam.
I wouldn’t even think of giving a try to this InfluEarn after reading this review.
That’s a good choice!
Although, if you have an internet security program installed, you should not worry…
Harry
InfluEarn doesn’t look straightforward at all.
With all these unrealistic claims, one would really need to raise an eyebrow. This is how these platforms work by trying to play on people’s feelings. The platform has a good name though no doubt.
However, it is not something I’d want to waste my time on.
I’ll keep looking for another more legit way to earn money online.
A good platform name is not enough to make it legit though 😛
Make sure that you check my counter-suggestions, Wealthy Affiliate and Project 24 out.

Hi,
Great review about InfluEarn.
Just a day before yesterday I came across this survey site. Actually, one of my friends is always interested in online surveys. She thought this is the best way to earn money online.
But many times I told her, to be careful of scam survey sites. But she didn’t listen. Again this time she came and showed me another survey site. I was not sure what to say, as I didn’t know that much about InfluEarn.
But after reading your review I understand everything about this survey site.
So I think I am gonna share this review with her to save her from wasting her time with it.
I really hope that your friend ends up dodging this bullet…
Let me know!
Harry
I must commend your honesty in this post.
The idea of opening a site just to get money from people without rendering any useful service to them must be treated with all seriousness. Such scam sites create a bad name for the online business society at large.
I’ll urge everyone to be careful of these sites and look out for some simple signs which could hint that they are scams including ghost owners, fake testimonies and hyped services.
Thanks for counter-suggesting Wealthy Affiliate and Project 24.
Both of them seem legit, trusted platforms.
Best regards!
You are absolutely right…
Many people who get scammed by platforms such as InfluEarn get a lot frustrated and give up their efforts to make money online for a long time or forever which is such a pity.
Both Wealthy Affiliate and Project 24 offer some very high-quality training and tools which greatly expedite results. I have been a member of both for a while and their combination has skyrocketed my online business.
