What is CBD BioCare About?

CBD BioCare is a company that distributes full-spectrum CBD oil products.

The company was founded back in 2016 by Matthew and Stacey Pitts (husband & wife).

CBD BioCare Matthew and Stacey Pitts
Matthew & Stacey Pitts

The story of CBD BioCare starts a few years earlier when Matthew visited an old high school friend, Daryl, who was suffering from cancer.

At that time, cannabis hadn’t yet been legalized in the US but Daryl had been “illegally” using it to relieve his pain and restore his appetite for food. The plant seemed to be working like a charm for him.

Unfortunately, a while later Daryl passed away.

However, Matthew didn’t forget how cannabis helped Daryl and his family cope during the worst and last moments of his life.

Both Matthew and Stacey were big supporters of allowing people to legally reap the medicinal properties of cannabis.

When medicinal marijuana finally got legalized in the US in 2016, Matthew and Stacey immediately launched CBD BioCare as a way to supply people in need, like their old friend Daryl, with high-quality CDB products.

According to CBD BioCare’s website, before founding CBD BioCare, Matthew and Stacey Pitts mostly worked independently from one another and had acquired extensive experience in many fields such as sales, marketing, healthcare, finance, leadership, and video production.

CBD BioCare’s mission is twofold…

  • Spread the health benefits of using CBD products
  • Help people who are passionate about CBD become self-employed by introducing others to CBD through their direct sales affiliate program

Our hope is that you not only try our products, but that you fall in love with them as we have. Our desire is that they not only provide the results or the relief you are seeking but that you will share your experience with others so more people can learn about the benefits of CBD. – Matthew and Stacey Pitts

CBD BioCare's Products and Prices

According to CBD BioCare, their goal is to ensure the highest-quality CBD products at an affordable price.

The hemp used in CBD BioCare’s products is organically grown on US farms that are licensed by the Department of Agriculture in accordance with section 7606 of the U.S. Farm Bill.

It’s then processed into oil and manufactured in CBD BioCare’s final products by FDA compliant facilities again in the US.

All the company’s manufacturers are GMP certified (GMP = Good Manufacturing Practice: a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards).

The oil used in CBD BioCare’s products is full-spectrum CBD oil.

Full-spectrum CBD oil contains the full range of cannabinoids extracted from hemp, something that helps people reap all the medicinal properties of the plant.

CBD BioCare’s full-spectrum CBD oil is tested from plant to product, at the farm, during extraction, when it arrives at the manufacturing facility and once again when it arrives at CBD BioCare in order to ensure that by the time it arrives on the customer’s doorstep, it is compliant with the law, safe, potent, pure, consistent, and high-quality.

CBD BioCare's Compensation Plan

The majority of MLM companies have so overly complicated compensation plans that it feels like you need to have a rocket scientist doctorate to understand just their first paragraph.

Thankfully, CBD BioCare’s compensation plan is an exception as it’s pretty simple and straightforward…

CBD BioCare compensates its Sales Reps in 3 different ways.

  1. Retail Commissions
  2. 10% Continuous Referral Fees
  3. Lifetime Affiliate Commissions

1 • Retail Commissions

Earn up to 40% commissions on all retail sales of CBD BioCare products (even when you buy CBD BioCare products yourself).

The commission rate depends on your current CBD BioCare rank.

CBD BioCare’s ranks, qualifications, and commissions rates are as follows:

  • Sales Rep: $0 – $999 total sales volume -> 20% retail commissions
  • Sales Rep: $1000 – $4999 total SV -> 25% retail commissions
  • Sales Manager: $5000 – $14.999 total SV -> 30% retail commissions
  • Sales Manager: $15.000 – $24.999 total SV -> 35% retail commissions
  • CBD CEO: $25.000+ total SV -> 40% retail commissions

Please note that the sales volume you’ll need to advance through CBD BioCare’s ranks is not being reset month after month just like it happens with most MLMs but it’s rather accumulated.

For instance, if you have $600 sales volume during your first month and $600 sales volume during your second month, at the end of the second month you’ll have gathered a total of $1200 sales volume and thus your retail commission rate will rise to 25%.

This also means that once you reach a specific rank, you can never be demoted to a lower one so when you eventually reach the CBD CEO rank, you’ll be earning 40% commissions on all your retail sales forever.

2 • 10% Continuous Referral Fees

You earn 10% commissions of the sales volume of each CBD BioCare Sales Rep or wholesaler you have personally recruited.

For instance, if a Sales Rep you have recruited has 50 customers who buy $5000 worth of CBD BioCare products in total, $500 will go into your pocket.

If you are sponsoring a wholesaler who buys $10.000 worth of products per month, you’ll earn $1000 per month.

3 • Lifetime Affiliate Commissions

Once a customer purchases one or more CBD BioCare products through your unique affiliate link or sales page, they become YOUR customer for life.

This means that you’ll earn commissions not just for a customer’s first purchase but also for every future purchase they make on CBD BioCare.

Please note that CBD BioCare’s compensation plan might undergo changes from time to time so by the time you read this review, some of the info, the commission rates, the rank qualifications, etc that are displayed in the video I shared with you right above might not be that accurate.

If you still have questions about CBD BioCare’s compensation plan, you could contact its support team at the telephone number (727) 205-1638 or through the contact form on the company’s website.

Or you could contact me at harry@dearboss-iquit.com and I will do my best to help you out.

Is CBD BioCare a Pyramid Scheme?

Most of the time it’s very hard to distinguish between a legit MLM company and a pyramid scheme.

The video below will help you understand how to spot and avoid pyramid schemes in general.

The main difference between a legit MLM and a pyramid scheme is that your income potential with a legit MLM is mostly based on selling the company’s actual products or services to retail customers while your income potential with a pyramid scheme is mostly or solely based on recruiting other people into the scheme.

Not all MLMs are legitimate. If the money you make through an MLM is based on your sales to the public, it may be a legitimate one. If the money you make is based on the number of people you recruit and your sales to them, it’s not legit. It’s a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal, and the vast majority of their participants lose money. – Federal Trade Commission

CBD BioCare is as far from being a pyramid scheme as an MLM could possibly be…

First and foremost, the company’s compensation plan is geared towards retail sales and not recruitment.

Secondly, anyone can join CBD BioCare as a Sales Rep completely for free.

The livelihood of pyramid schemes mostly depends on the signup fees & packages new recruits have to pay to join… This means that an MLM that’s free to join just can’t be a pyramid scheme.

Even if a Sales Rep ends up purchasing one of the company’s Sales Rep Kits during their signup, there’s no sales volume generated and thus their upline will earn $0 off of that purchase.

In addition, CBD BioCare’s Sales Reps don’t have to purchase any products or meet other monthly minimum sales/recruitment quotas to become and remain active or increase their earning potential just like it’s the case with the majority of pyramid schemes.

CBD BioCare is absolutely NOT a pyramid scheme.

CBD BioCare Pros

1 • Free to Join

The first thing that I like about CBD BioCare is that you can become its Sales Rep for free.

As a free CBD BioCare Sales Rep, you’ll get your hands on

  • Personal dashboard
  • Unique referral links
  • Training videos
  • Marketing materials
  • Private Facebook group
  • Analytics & reporting tools
  • and much more

This is basically everything you’ll need to start earning commissions through selling the company’s products in retail as well as recruiting other Sales Reps and Wholesalers.

If you are looking for a legit MLM business opportunity that won’t cost you an arm and a leg to get started, CBD BioCare is probably perfect for you!

2 • Free Replicated Affiliate Links

Upon joining CBD BioCare as a Sales Rep, the company provides you with free unique affiliate links which you can share around the internet (YouTube, forums, social media, websites, etc).

When someone clicks on one of your unique affiliate links they’ll get redirected to CBD BioCare’s website and automatically become your referral.

  • When your referrals purchase CBD BioCare’s products, you’ll earn commissions
  • Your referrals that sign up as CBD BioCare’s Sales Reps become part of your downline which means that you’ll earn 10% commissions off of the retail sales THEY make

If marketed the right way, those unique affiliate links could help you maximize your retail sales, recruits and thus your income.

If your business is not on the internet, then your business will be out of business – Bill Gates

3 • Money-Back Guarantee

CBD BioCare offers a 14-day money-back guarantee to all retail customers.

Research shows that money-back guarantees and refunds increase customers’ feelings of satisfaction with their purchases.

In addition, people are much more likely to buy products that have a money-back guarantee as well as purchase from the same seller that offered it in the future.

If leveraged the right way, CBD BioCare’s money-back guarantee could have a rather positive impact on your retail sales.

You can read all about CBD BioCare’s return policy right here.

4 • BBB "A" Rating

BBB (Better Business Bureau) is a non-profit organization that ranks and accredits businesses, charities, and non-profit organizations based on several factors, such as

  • Legitimacy
  • Information gathered online
  • Complaints received from customers
  • Complaints resolved by the company
  • etc

BBB has rated CBD BioCare with an “A” which is actually the second-highest possible rating after “A+”.

While BBB is not an official business evaluator but rather an independent organization, the higher the BBB rating a company receives, the more credible and trustworthy it is considered.

5 • Access to Private Facebook Group

Once you join CBD BioCare as a Sales Rep, you can request access to a private Facebook group the company has created for all its Sales Reps to interact with one another…

This isn’t something that you’ll see in your average MLM…

Being part of a group of like-minded people could make the difference between success and failure as you can leverage it to

  • Gather knowledge, advice, and feedback from other community members
  • Get your questions answered faster
  • Connect with other Sales Reps and expand your network
  • Share your frustrations and setbacks with people who’ll understand you
  • Discover tips, tricks, techniques, and secrets from those who have already succeeded with the company
  • and much more

In addition, CBD BioCare’s Facebook group seems to be very active, with dozens of posts being posted daily and hundreds of people joining it monthly, something that proves that the company is still very alive, active, and healthy.

CBD BioCare Private Facebook Group

6 • High-Quality Products

Truthfully, I’ve never tried a CBD product in my life, including CBD BioCare’s…

However, I would never suggest an MLM company if I wasn’t sure that the products it distributes are actually high-quality and beneficial to other people…

Frankly, I’ve reviewed dozens of MLM companies that have been sued multiple times for incorporating excessive amounts of harmful substances such as lead in their products.

Not fun…

So, before I started putting this review together, I conducted some research…

Thankfully, I concluded that CBD BioCare’s products are indeed pretty high-quality.

First of all, CBD BioCare’s official Facebook page is swarming with dozens of very positive reviews and testimonials about its products.

People with back pain, migraines, chronic pain, sleep problems all seem to be experiencing some amazing results after using CBD BioCare’s products.

In addition, there seem to be quite a lot of positive video testimonials about CBD BioCare’s products on Youtube (see one of them below).

High-quality products are a lot easier to sell both for the first time and recurringly…

Plus, if you incorporate some of those positive reviews and testimonials in your marketing attempts you can gain the trust of potential customers and dramatically increase your retail sales and recruitments.

7 • Retail-Driven Comp Plan

One of my favorite things about CBD BioCare is that its compensation plan is mostly geared towards retail sales and not recruiting Sales Reps…

For instance, you can earn up to 40% commissions for selling the company’s products to retail customers but only 10% commissions off of the sales of just your personally recruited Sales Reps or Wholesalers.

This means that you can make way more profit by selling CBD BioCare’s products yourself than by focusing on recruiting other people.

Frankly, CBD BioCare is the most retail-driven MLM I’ve come across.

8 • No Complaints

Something that amazed me about CBD BioCare is that there are almost no complaints about it anywhere online…

This is kind of a big deal.

The vast majority of MLMs I’ve reviewed until now have dozens of complaints regarding a variety of issues ranging from low-quality products, side-effects, bad customer service, not getting paid commissions, other billing issues, etc.

CBD BioCare has only 1 complaint under its BBB profile and it’s so old that its details have been erased by BBB altogether.

9 • Fast & High-Quality Support

I’ve personally reached out to CBD BioCare’s support team several times with a variety of questions and issues and I have to say that I haven’t been disappointed with the speed and quality of their help a single time.

10 • Weekly Live Webinars

Last but not least, CBD BioCare holds weekly live training webinars on its private Facebook Group.

Again, this is something that no other MLM company does…

The webinars are presented mostly by CBD BioCare’s founders, Matthew and Stacey Pitts, as well as Dr. Frank who is one of the top CBD BioCare’s Sales Reps and focus on a variety of subjects, such as

  • The benefits of CBD
  • How CBD helps deal with specific ailments
  • Sales & recruitment tips and techniques
  • Marketing yourself and the products
  • Motivation & self-development
  • etc

Once you join CBD BioCare’s private Facebook Group, you could also watch all the past webinars that have been held over the years since CBD BioCare was initially launched (100+ webinars).

CBD BioCare Cons

1 • It's Still an MLM

As mentioned earlier, I am not that fond of the MLM business model in general for many reasons…

First of all, according to several sources, 74% – 99% of all MLM participants never actually manage to make a profit.

In addition, the vast majority of those who do manage to make a profit, earn less than $5000 per year.

Secondly, I hate selling and recruiting…

And thirdly, I’ve heard so many stories of people losing all their friends, family, and money due to the pushy and sleazy practices they were being taught by their “mentors” that I have become repulsed by the MLM business model in general.

Being involved in an MLM is just not worth the trouble in my mind…

Especially when there are other much simpler, more profitable, and stable business models.

2 • No Income Disclosure Statement

While conducting my research about CBD BioCare, I couldn’t locate its Income Disclosure Statement anywhere online for the life of me…

So, I naturally contacted the company’s customer service to send me over a copy.

The answer I received was basically that since the company’s team commissions (10% Continuous Referral Fees) are generated just from one level of recruits deep, the company isn’t truly considered an MLM and so it isn’t obligated to publish an Income Disclosure Statement.

I guess that since MLM means getting paid in multiple levels and CBD BioCare pays you on the sales of just one level of recruits below you, they could be right.

Or this could be just an excuse for CBD BioCare to hide the fact that its Sales Reps make very little money in order for potential Sales Reps to not get discouraged from joining the company.

After all, that’s something that quite a lot of MLMs do…

3 • Little Info About Its Owners

Lastly, the thing that I didn’t really like about CBD BioCare is that it provides very little info about its owners…

Also, there’s not much information about them anywhere online, something that I find kinda suspicious.

Basically, all we really know about Matthew and Stacey Pitts is that they started CBD BioCare after witnessing how one of their friends who had cancer was benefiting from the use of cannabis.

We have no clue about their education, previous work experience, if they have been involved with other MLM companies, etc…

Frankly, this makes me kinda lose trust in them and their company.

Is CBD BioCare Suggested?

As I’ve mentioned multiple times throughout my CBD BioCare review, I am not that fond of the MLM business model in general…

However, if I just had to choose an MLM company to join, CBD BioCare would be the one.

First of all, the company is free to join so you’ve literally got nothing to lose to try it out.

Secondly, its compensation plan pays out generous commissions and it’s highly geared towards retail sales.

Thirdly, you’ll be distributing high-quality products that could actually benefit a lot of people at very affordable prices.

Furthermore, you’ll be granted access to a very active Facebook group whereas you could connect and interact with other Sales Reps as well as attend weekly live webinars held by the company’s owners.

Moreover, CBD BioCare provides fast and effective customer service, something that is extremely rare for an MLM company.

And lastly, BBB has rated CBD BioCare with an “A” which is actually a pretty decent rating.

Personally, I’ve built a full-time income and I am currently making my living while working from home by leveraging another simpler, more sustainable, and profitable business model.

  1. So if you sign up for free and don’t purchase one of the packages to start, you will not get an ID for when sales are made to make commission off those sales?

  2. I’m always on the lookout for information on CBD money-making opportunities so it’s good to come across a review such as this one.

I am not a fan of MLMs either so I’m glad you pointed out the fact that this is an MLM straight away.

Personally, I enjoy having 100% control over my work and I don’t like pushy salespeople, nor would I want to be one.

And though the commissions do look pretty decent with CBD BioCare, I prefer your alternative in Wealthy Affiliate. I do know some people who are sales-minded and I will forward your post along to them.

Thanks for such a comprehensive review and keep up the good work!

    1. I am glad that you found this review helpful.

Wealthy Affiliate might be exactly what you are looking for as it teaches you how to create your very own online business from scratch which you’ll have 100% control over exactly as you prefer.

You could create an affiliate marketing business in the CBD niche. There’s a lot of competition there as well but I know a ton of people who have managed to break their way into the market and make good money with the help of Wealthy Affiliate’s training and tools.

Let me know if you need any clarification!

      Harry

  3. Very interesting review and you made the point about it NOT being a pyramid scheme very well.. Personally I DETEST pyramid schemes and feel like they should be illegal as they are borderline exploitation of some vulnerable people at the bottom of the chain.

I’m in the UK and CBD oil is really taking off here now (as long as the THC content is below 0.02%) but I hadn’t even considered pyramid schemes may rear their ugly head again in ways to market and promote this!

  4. I’m glad there are articles like this on the internet to educate individuals about these kinds of businesses before they go into them and in some cases end up with regrets.

CBD products have been tested to be very effective and from there, I understand where the competition in the niche comes from.

However, selling CBD BioCare’s products will be quite easy as they seem to be already known in the market.

Thanks for the other suggestions. I’ll check both of them.

    1. I believe that you are right…

CBD BioCare seems to have a very good reputation in the CBD industry and even people who are not yet using CBD products are probably aware of the brand.

If I had any knowledge around the subject and maybe a bit more time, I would probably give CBD BioCare a try as a Sales Rep since it’s free to get started.

If you have any questions about my suggestions, I’d be happy to help you.

      Harry
