What is CashOG About?
CashOG is basically a GPT (Get Paid To) website which claims that it offers you the opportunity to get paid thousands of dollars by completing a variety of very simple tasks which you can complete extremely easily even if you have no previous experience with such matters.
First of all, CashOG provides you a referral link which you’ll be sharing online (social media, forums, blogs, etc) and it will pay you $2 for each person who clicks on that referral link, and an additional $10 when those who clicked your referral link sign up to CashOG (see image below).
In addition to that, CashOG will pay you
- $30 for filling in surveys and entering contests
- $20 for installing applications on your mobile phone
- $50 for creating YouTube videos about CashOG
- $10 for submitting a post on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter promoting CashOG
Be aware that the money you earn through completing every single CashOG task are being credited in your CashOG account and you can only actually cash them out after meeting all the requirements below:

On CashOG’s website, you can find a number of payment proofs and positive testimonials about the platform.
It goes without saying that all of them are 100% fake and fabricated.
Let me explain why starting with the payment proofs.
CashOG Fake Payment Proofs
If you head over to cashog.co/proof you’ll be able to see more than a dozen screenshots of payments supposedly made by CashOG to its influencers.
If you look closely, you’ll see that most of those payments seem to have taken place earlier than 28/6/2019 which is when the domain name cashog.co was first registered (see image below).
This means that CashOG didn’t even exist until 28/6/2019 so it’s impossible that it was paying people before then… Hell, it doesn’t even pay people now that it is actually up and running!
Subsequently, all those payment proofs should be fabricated.
Let’s take a look at those testimonials now.
CashOG Fake Positive Testimonials
Again, if you head over to cashog.co/video-testimonials, you’ll come across a dozen of positive video testimonials which are supposed to have been recorded by actual CashOG members.
The problem is that none of those people are actually members of CashOG but rather paid actors.
Take a look at the video below that is used as a positive testimonial for CashOG.
As you can see in the image below, that guy in the video you just watched is actually a paid actor who is offering his spokesperson services as a freelancer in Fiverr.
This means that companies like CashOG pay him to record videos saying whatever they like.
And since one of those CashOG positive testimonials is fake, then in my eyes, all of them are fake.
Using fake payment proofs and fake positive testimonials is actually a crime as they directly influence the decision of an individual to sign up and use CashOG when they would otherwise not if those fake payment proofs and testimonials didn’t exist.
How Much Does CashOG Cost?
CashOG is free to join.
However, it’s not really free to use in its entirety.
You see, in order to be able to complete some of the tasks on the $30 TaskWall, you’ll be required to submit your mobile phone number and if you do, you’ll start receiving several promotional text messages per day at your very own charge.
And those text messages are not cheap at all… Their prices might range somewhere between $1 and $8 each and you might be receiving dozens of them per month.
Despite the fact that there are probably ways to unsubscribe from such text message services, I’d never submit my phone number anywhere within CashOG just for the sake of my own peace of mind.

1 • Has Just One Pro
The fact that the only pro of CashOG is that it’s free to join is definitely a con for me.
2 • Unrealistic Earnings Claims
The first thing you’ll see once you land on CashOG’s main page is a huge banner saying “Make $500 Today!”.
Besides the obvious setback that earning $500 in a day out of nowhere could only be possible for seasoned digital marketers since CashOG will never actually let you cash out your earnings, you won’t be able to earn $500 either today or ever with it…
In addition, on its “About Us” page, there’s a claim that CashOG has been around since 2015. As we’ve already seen, its domain name got registered on 28/6/2019 so this is a lie. CashOG also claims that it has paid over $44M to 300k of its members.
At the time of this review (20/8/2019), the platform is not even 2 months old so it’s impossible that it has managed to gather so many members as well as paid them over $44M in such a short amount of time.
3 • Fake Positive Testimonials/Success Stories
The fact that the success stories, payment proofs, and positive testimonials about CashOG are all fabricated, is an enormous turn-off for me.
This proves that CashOG’s creators were pretty confident that they would never get authentic positive testimonials from people who have tried the platform. Success stories would also be impossible to exist since CashOG doesn’t even pay its members…
So, they decided to lie about them…
According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), using fake positive testimonials and success stories is considered a violation as it encourages customers to invest in a product or service they otherwise might not, thereby defrauding the customer, which is actually illegal and subject to huge penalties.
4 • Additional Charges
As I’ve already mentioned, to complete some tasks on the $30 TaskWall you’ll be required to submit your mobile phone number…
Once you do, you agree to subscribe to text-message services which cost an average of $50 per month.
So, if you do the math, completing 5 of those tasks equals to $250 of monthly recurring charges to you.
Of course, there are ways to unsubscribe from those services and stop getting charged but would you trust them with your phone number after all that you’ve read until now?
I know I wouldn’t…
5 • Fake Support Info
CashOG gives you 2 options to contact their support team.
The first option is through a Skype address of an “account manager” which we’ve already established that it’s fake.
The second option is through an email address which after looking it up is also fake (see image below).
This means that you shouldn’t expect any kind of support after joining CashOG; you are all by yourself…
6 • Unable to Cashout
The biggest con of CashOG is that the platform will never actually let you cash out your earnings.
Even if it didn’t have any other cons and like a thousand more pros, this con alone beats the whole purpose of joining and using the platform in the first place.
For one last time, if you consider trying CashOG out, you’ll be wasting your time, effort, and possibly money as well without getting a single penny in return.
7 • Potential Hacking Danger
So, yesterday I attempted to complete one of CashOG’s tasks on the $30 TaskWall and before I even got to access it my antivirus went off giving me the alert below:
As it seems, some of CashOG’s tasks lead to external websites which contain viruses that could hurt your computer and compromise the security of your personal data.
Such viruses could ruin valuable files and information and even expose the credentials of your social media, email, and bank accounts to several hackers.
I suggest that you never even access CashOG without having an internet security program installed… If you already have accessed CashOG without having any protection in place, you must immediately purchase an antivirus and scan your entire computer in order to ensure your safety…
So, What Now?
Okay, so you read this CashOG review in its entirety…
Now what?
Well, as I see it, right now you have 4 options…
- You either waste your time and effort trying to make money with CashOG (awful choice)
- You check out my top suggestions Project 24 or Wealthy Affiliate, which are proven to have helped hundreds of people earn their living online (optimal choice)
- You take a look at the dozens of others reviews I’ve put together hoping you’ll find something which suits you better there

Another one to go on my ‘Avoid at all cost’ list, thank you. I’ve just tried the URL, out of curiosity, it seems to go someplace different now. Even Google couldn’t translate the page. I did spot the word ‘Bingo’ though, so that gives me a good idea of the type of site it is.
So my obvious question, outside of the fact that the site seems inaccessible from my location, how is it that these sites manage to stay up for as long as they do? If there are laws in place for certain blatant breaches, then why are they not enforced via the search engines. Not the same, I know, but the social media giants are very quick to shut down content that doesn’t adhere to its own policies.
Only the other day, a friend was doing a ‘live’ video from his workshop, they had some music playing and it was ‘quashed within about 5 minutes. Muted. If they were as quick to pull down sites like these much fewer people will get scammed.

First of all, as it seems, search engines are not that fast in evaluating the websites they index because most of the process takes place automatically. Most social media platforms seem to have teams which are monitoring what is uploaded and that’s maybe why they manage to pull down content which doesn’t adhere to their policies.
Also, websites such as CashOG regularly change their domain name in order to keep themselves afloat. For instance, a scammy website very similar to CashOG used to be KidsEarnCash which later changed its name to Viral Pay, then Viral Dollars, and then Referral Pay.
I believe that after a few months when CashOG has gathered a number of negative reviews, it’s going to change its name to something else. I also have a suspicion that CashOG used to be called CloutPay a few months back.

We don’t want to demoralize earning money online is possible. But I strongly agree with that the help, CashOG is not possible. It’s totally a scam.
Your review will help defeat the scammers. I personally suggest that everybody should not go for short-term benefits as in that route scammers have set many traps.
I sure hope so… I really hate it when people try to manipulate others into wasting their time, energy, and money without getting nothing in return just for the sake of earning some money.

And claims that they paid people BEFORE their site was even up and running? I’m always leery of those get rich quick claims – usually a dead give away. As the old saying goes, “If it’s too good to be true, then it probably is!”.
I’m with you on the “free to join” claim is definitely not a “pro” in this case.

A lot of people who are financially unstable would see this platform and all the deceitful rewards it has claimed to offer which is enticing and would fall for it.
I was a victim of one other MMO scheme listed in this review called Referral Pay.
I had invested a lot of my time and energy to make money with it but in the end and it was futile as my account got banned as you mentioned.
There are other much more legit platforms than CashOG to help you earn money online.
