People tend to think that making money online is easier, more flexible, and requires less hard work than making money offline…
MMO (Make Money Online) platforms are currently aware of such human behaviors and are trying to take advantage of unsuspecting users by promising push-button systems to incredible wealth!
Push Button Profits seems like one of those platforms… It claims that it will help you earn thousands of dollars per week, effortlessly, by pushing just one button.
When I found out, I decided to dive a little deeper into the platform and figure out if it’s really legit or just another scam.
What I discovered is quite disturbing, to say the least.

What is Push Button Profits About?
Push Button Profits poses as a system that will help you generate thousands of dollars per week with a push of a button.
However, PBP is absolutely not what it claims to be…
The truth is that Push Button Profits is not a real money-making opportunity but rather just a sales page which has been created for the sole purpose of funneling people into another program called “Traffic Authority”.
What this means is that Push Button Profits is nothing but a means of promoting Traffic Authority.
Push Button Profits has been put together by a person called Eric B back in 2011.
Unfortunately, since Eric doesn’t reveal his full name, I couldn’t locate any more info about him… No social media accounts, no websites, nothing…
Chances are that Eric isn’t even his real name.
All I know about him is that he is affiliated with Traffic Authority.
This means that Traffic Authority pays him commissions for referring other people to it.
That’s basically the sole reason he launched Push Button Profits – to refer people to Traffic Authority and thus generate commissions for himself.
In fact, Push Button Profits’ sales page is a replica of Traffic Authority’s sales page – from the extraordinary claims to the video to the testimonials and packages – everything…
Now that you have an overview of what Push Button Profits is, let’s see how it really works.
How Does Push Button Profits Work?
In order to join and start utilizing Push Button Profits, you’ll first have to purchase one of its two signup packages:
- Starter Package – $47/month
- Top Earner Package – $144/month
Purchasing any of those signup packages will basically grant you access to Traffic Authority.
Now, all you have to do to start generating money is to start promoting the exact same system to other people.
Traffic Authority will pay you a $16/month commission when someone you referred to it purchases a Starter Package and a $40/month commission for every referral of yours that purchases a Top Earner Package.
If you’ve signed up with the Starter Package, you’ll only qualify for commissions on your Starter Package sales.
If you’ve signed up with the Top Earner Package, you’ll qualify for commissions both on your Starter Package as well as your Top Earner Package sales.
The way to start promoting Push Button Profits to other people is by purchasing one of the traffic packages from within Traffic Authority’s members’ area (see right below).
- Basic Package ($220): 170-190 clicks
- Bronze Package ($440): 350-380 clicks
- Silver Package ($660): 510-570 clicks
- Gold Package ($1097): 850-950 clicks
- Platinum Package ($2197): 1700-1900 clicks
- Titanium Package ($4297): 3400-3800 clicks
- Diamond Package ($8397): 8100-8400 clicks
Upon purchasing any of those traffic packages, Push Button Profits will start being promoted to a certain number of people depending on the traffic package you paid for.
For instance, if you pay for the Silver Package, Push Button Profits will be promoted to 510-570 people.
This doesn’t even remotely mean that all of those people will join Push Button Profits but some of them probably will. Those will be considered your referrals.
Now, in order for your referrals to start earning money with Push Button Profits, they will have to go through the exact same process as you which means that they’ll have to purchase traffic packages as well.
For every traffic package your referrals purchase, you’ll earn a commission.
- Basic Package – $80 commission
- Bronze Package – $160 commission
- Silver Package – $250 commission
- Gold Package – $400 commission
- Platinum Package – $800 commission
- Titanium Package – $1600 commission
- Diamond Package – $3200 commission
However, again, you’ll qualify for commissions only on the traffic package sales that are equal to or lower than the traffic package you have purchased…
For instance, if you’ve purchased a Gold Package and one of your referrals purchases a Platinum Package you won’t earn a commission but you’ll earn a commission if they purchase a Gold Package or lower.
This also means that if you want to qualify for commissions on all of your traffic package sales, you’ll have to purchase the Diamond Package yourself.
Who Is Push Button Profits For?
I think that Push Button Profits is not for beginners but rather best suited for those who already have an established audience and know the ins and outs of earning money online…
If you have no audience or clue how to find people to promote Push Button Profits then you’ll have no choice but to rely on Traffic Authority’s traffic packages.
The problem here is that you don’t know what kind of traffic those packages are going to generate, where that traffic comes from, or if they’ll even buy.
Basically, you’ll be spending hundreds of dollars without any guarantee whatsoever that you will get a return on your investment.
Unfortunately, getting traffic to your offer isn’t the only prerequisite to earning money online… You need to get the kind of traffic that is actually interested in what you have to offer.
On the other hand, if you already have a way of reaching a relevant audience (email list, website, YouTube channel, Facebook/Instagram, etc) you might be able to make some good money by promoting Push Button Profits to that audience.
If not, you could start slowly building your audience from the ground up, but something like that would be extremely challenging and overwhelming for a complete beginner and especially with no training whatsoever.
How Much Does Push Button Profits Cost?
As mentioned earlier, Push Button Profits offers 2 signup packages
- Starter Package ($47/month)
- Top Earner Package ($144/month)
The Starter Package includes Traffic Reseller + Optimizer which basically consist of a number of tools, such as
- Tracking Link Creator
- Lead Capture Page Builder
- Traffic Rotator
- etc
The Top Earner Package includes everything included in the Starter Package + Traffic Academy which basically offers training on
- Traffic Generation
- Capturing Leads
- Converting Sales
- etc
In addition to the signup fees, in order to start and keep generating money with Push Button Profits, you’ll have to start and keep paying for its traffic packages…
The cheapest one is $220 and the most expensive one at $8397.
Push Button Profits Pros
- Long-Standing Program
- Could Be Profitable
1 • Long-Standing Program
Usually, low-quality MMO platforms don’t last more than a couple of years.
Push Button Profits has been operating since 2011.
This could be proof that Push Button Profits is not that low-quality and actually works for some people.
2 • Could Be Profitable
As mentioned earlier, if you already have a way of reaching a relevant audience (email list, website, YouTube channel, Facebook/Instagram, etc) you could end up earning some good money by promoting Push Button Profits to that audience.
However, if you intend to rely on Traffic Authority’s traffic packages, you’ll probably never actually manage to make a profit.
The traffic packages cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars and the traffic they generate is very low-quality (some of it could be bot traffic) something that means that the vast majority of it is very unlikely to actually convert to sales.
Push Button Profits Cons
- Misleading Income Claims
- NOT a Push-Button System
- It's an MLM
- Obscure Owner
- Expensive Traffic Packages
1 • Misleading Income Claims
Oh boy, where do I start?!
One thing I really hate about money-making opportunities is when they make misleading and unrealistic income claims and unfortunately, Push Button Profits is full of them.
The funny thing is that during the first 15 seconds of Push Button Profits’ sales video, Eric claims the following:
This is a no BS event there’s not going to be any hype and I’m not going to make any outlandish claims.
At the same time, right above the video, there’s this claim:
In addition, right below the video, there are testimonials that make extraordinary claims too, like earning $37,140 in one weekend or earning $38,000 during the first week (see images below).
If earning $40k in a weekend just by pushing a button was really a thing, then everybody in the world would be a millionaire.
On top of everything else, within Push Buttons Profits’ sales video, Eric makes claims, such as
- “Secret” source of traffic (it’s not that secret… It’s just paid ads)
- Earn $50,000 – $100,000 in no time flat
- Paid $500,000 in just 7 days
- etc
What happened to “no BS” there Eric?
2 • NOT a Push-Button System
Push Button Profits is marketed as a push-button system for earning thousands of dollars online without having any skills or experience…
However, it’s definitely not what it claims to be.
As mentioned earlier, Push Button Profits is actually a funnel to Traffic Authority.
And according to Traffic Authority’s income disclosure statement, in order to make money with the system, it’ll require you to work hard and have good sales skills.
Not only that but the average person who joins Traffic Authority seems to be earning just $500 – $2000 per year (image below).
This debunks all the claims of Push Button Profits being a push-button system towards generating thousands of dollars per day online.
3 • It's an MLM
On top of everything else, Traffic Authority is an MLM scheme.
As it seems, in addition to earning commissions on your very own recruits and sales, Traffic Authority will pay you commissions on the recruits and sales of your referrals as well.
This might sound like an awesome deal but it’s really not.
You see, according to several sources like the FCT, 99% of all MLM participants lose money.
And I really doubt that the case will be any different with Traffic Authority.
4 • Owner Poses as Member
As I’ve already pointed out, Push Button Profits’ creator is a guy who goes by the name Eric B.
At the end of Push Button Profits’ sales video, that same guy poses as a member of Push Button Profits and provides a very positive testimonial for the system.
He claims that he’s been in the program for a couple of months and flashes a check of $11,657 that he supposedly earned in just one week (watch the video below).
Right below the video, there’s yet another testimonial whereas Eric B. poses as a member of Push Button Profits claiming that he made $2,000 in just one hour (image below).
First of all, earning $2,000 in an hour = unrealistic claim…
Secondly, PBP’s creator posing as a member of his own system just to give a positive testimonial is a very misleading and scammy practice…
Lastly, in my eyes, since one testimonial of Push Button Profits is fabricated, then the rest of them should be fabricated as well.
So, don’t believe any of it.
5 • Expensive Traffic Packages
Traffic Authority’s traffic packages are extremely expensive in proportion with the quality of traffic they generate.
The cheapest traffic package costs $220 and generates up to 200 clicks.
Not only is this incredibly expensive traffic but we have no clue where it’s coming from, or if it’ll convert into sales.
To give you a frame of reference, a Facebook ad can generate the exact same number of clicks with less than $10. And that’s a Facebook ad not an ad on God knows which platform…
Frankly, I’d so much rather invest my money in running some Facebook/Instagram/Google ads than wasting thousands of dollars on Traffic Authority’s low-quality traffic.

Affiliate marketing FAQs
Affiliate marketing is an online business model that involves promoting products or services created and distributed by third-party online merchants in exchange for getting paid a commission for each sale you refer.
In layman’s terms, affiliate marketing is the process of being compensated for helping businesses sell to more customers.
Here’s a bird’s eye view of how affiliate marketing works.
- You join a merchant’s affiliate program
- The merchant gives you a unique affiliate link that points to their e-shop
- You promote your unique affiliate link online (blog, forums, social media, paid ads, etc.)
- Every time someone clicks on your unique affiliate link and makes a purchase on the merchant’s e-shop, the merchant pays you a commission
There are thousands of successful affiliate marketers all around the world. Some of the most well-known ones are:
- Pat Flynn
- Matt Diggity
- Matthew Woodward
- Doug Cunnington
- & more
You can check out a roundup of my 17 favorite examples of affiliate success and their backstories right here.
- Billion-dollar industry
- Very low startup & operational expenses
- Huge income potential
- Flexible & versatile
- Passive income
- Simple to implement
- No technical background
- No customer support
- No physical setup
Affiliate marketers can be divided into five main income groups:
- Total beginners: $0 – $20,000 per year
- Low-level affiliates: $20,000 – $50,000 per year
- Intermediate affiliates: $50,000 – $100,000 per year
- High-level affiliates: $100,000 – $500,000 per year
- Super affiliates: $500,000+ per year
According to PayScale, the average annual income for affiliate marketers in the US is over $54,000 per year. Statistics reveal that 13% of affiliates earn more than $75,000 per year.
Some of the factors that influence how much you earn as an affiliate marketer include:
- seniority
- target niche
- available resources
- previous experience
- marketing efforts
- & overall mindset
Here’s a rough income growth timeline of a typical affiliate marketing business:
- months (0-3): no earnings
- months (3-6): first affiliate sale
- months (6-12): $100-$500 monthly
- months (12-18): $1000 monthly
- months (18-24): $3000+ monthly
This timeline isn’t a guarantee of future performance but rather a mere approximation of the income growth of an average affiliate business. Your own timeline could be shorter or longer than projected.
Over the years, I’ve seen aspiring affiliates striking a gold vein just a few months into the industry. On the other hand, I personally know people who’ve been struggling to grow their affiliate revenue to $1000 per month for several years.
Affiliate marketing is one of the most affordable money-making models out there.
Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to get started as an affiliate marketer along with their associated costs:
- web hosting & domain name: $2.95/month (Bluehost)
- keyword research tool: $49/month (Jaaxy)
- expert guidance: $49/month (Wealthy Affiliate)
- email autoresponder: Free for up to 1000 subs (MailerLite)
Please note that on top of expert guidance, Wealthy Affiliate also provides free access to hosting and a keyword research tool so you don’t have to purchase them separately.
Yes, you can do affiliate marketing without a website by promoting your affiliate links on other marketing channels, such as:
- Social Media
- Paid Ads
- YouTube
- Podcast
- etc.
The process of getting started with affiliate marketing can be broken down into the following four simple steps:
- Pick a niche
- Launch a blog
- Build an audience
- Promote affiliate products
No, you don’t.
Affiliate marketing is very simple to get started with by virtually anyone regardless of age, education, background, available capital, tech-savviness, professional network, etc.
In fact, most 6-figure affiliate marketers were no more experienced than you currently are when they first ventured into the affiliate marketing industry.
Nonetheless, being knowledgeable in fields like marketing, sales, content production, business management, etc., could help you reach your financial goals somewhat faster.
Is Push Button Profits a Scam or Suggested?
Push Button Profits is not a scam but it’s very close to being one…
First of all, Push Button Profits tries to mislead people by making extravagant income claims which it can never truly deliver.
As I’ve already mentioned, Push Button Profits is just a sales page that exists for the sole purpose of funneling people to another program called Traffic Authority.
And according to Traffic Authority’s income disclosure statement, the average earnings of its members range between $500 and $2000 per year, NOT $10,000+ per week just as PBP claims…
The underlying concept of earning money by pushing just one button is simply non-existent… Systems like this just plant the idea of earning “easy money” in order to lure people in but they rarely work in practice.
Truth is that earning money either online or offline requires hard work, patience, and dedication.
In addition, Traffic Authority’s paid traffic packages are way too expensive for the quality of traffic they offer…
Frankly, if you’re a beginner to earning money you could easily end up in serious debt by investing money on those traffic packages hoping to make a sale.
That’s why I’d only suggest Push Button Profits to people who know their way around earning money online.
Only people like that can market Push Button Profits without purchasing Traffic Authority’s traffic packages and in such as way that they generate a good profit without actually lying their ass off in an attempt to lure even more people in that low-quality system.

Just FYI, but Eric B.’s last name in Bechtold in case you never found it.
Can’t really say anything about him personally but the programs he has been involved with (from my experience) are junk and will just take your money.
One that I tried took me forever to get canceled.
I actually had to end up reporting my credit card lost and got a replacement card just so that they could not keep charging me monthly.
Hope this helps.
Hi Gary, thanks a lot for sharing your experience with Eric’s products with us.
I’m sure that your comment will help a lot of people make an informed decision about whether or not they should invest in Push Button Profits.
Best wishes and stay safe,
Harry
